Costa Catterina winery is situated in the Djun locality, along the road that connects Castagnito to Castellinaldo.
The winery has steel tanks, large oak casks and barrels. Pairing tradition and experience with technology and innovation to guarantee a better product and a constantly improving quality of wine.
The modern steel tanks, all held at a controlled temperature, are used for the processing of the wines. The oak casks are utilised to age the red wines.
When the wine concludes the ageing period, it is then bottled and stored to be labelled depending on the destination.
Here, the owner Antonio Coscia, alongside his wife, Antonella and a qualified team, produces all of the most characteristic D.O.C.G. and D.O.C. wines of the Roero and Langhe.
After visiting the winery: the bottling area, storing area and ageing area; it is possible to taste the wines and relish their flavours which are typical to the area.
During the wine tasting, each wine is paired with food typical to the area such as cured meats and cheeses with honey, or in the case of the Moscato d’Asti, hazelnut cake or roasted hazelnuts.
